He graduated from the musical junior high school and high school of Palini in Athens, Greece.He studied oud with A. Apergis, I. Arvanitis, V. Georginis, K. Papadopoulou. He attended master classes with important musicians like Necati Celik, Yordal Tokcan, Yildiran Guz (Turkey), Simon Shaheen (Palestine), Ara Dinkjian (Armenia), Charbel Rouhana (Lebanon), Yildiran Guz (Turkey).

He was born in Kalamata, grew up in Piraeus and lived in Thessaloniki from 1995-2015 that moved back in Athens.He studied piano, choral conducting (a cappela) and modern harmony of music, classical and modern double bass, classical harmony of music, history and morphology of music, orchestration lessons with Amarandos Amarantidis and music composition with Nikiforos Rotas.In 1987, his meeting with Ross Daly and Christos Tsiamoulis, clarified his musical orientation and led him to personal study and courses of lute and yayli tanbur playing.
